5th barometer of Computerisation-Finance: four new trends in the digitisation of documents

According to the 2013 edition of the Computerisation-Finance barometer, the four current trends are (1) multi-ERP media, (2) assistance for financial and accounting piloting, (3) supplier collaboration and (4) mobility.
Firstly, digitisation of documents is a common practice and is still used: over three in four companies questioned have implemented accounting-supplier computerisation processes (+15 points compared to 2012). Subsequently, the intention for leading computerisation projects is supported in all countries, since 58% of respondents have at least one of these projects in progress. These projects are, most commonly, the addition of new applications or new roll-outs (including internationally). Finally, almost half of respondents stated that a planned reorganisation of their supplier accounting department was "likely" or "being studied".
Developed by the Association of Professionals and Directors for Accounting and Management (APDC), the French Association of Financial and Management Audit Directors (DFCG), ITESOFT and Mazars in partnership with Accounts Payable News, Fujitsu and Option Finance, this barometer responds to the desire of companies to have a market information and benchmarking tool for their practices.
