Disappearance of the "dual copy" of the INPI

With computerisation of procedures, filing and requests for incorporation on the Trade and Companies Register are simplified. Since 1 September 2012, at the time of filing deeds and requests for registration on the Trade and Companies Register, the notion of a "duplicate" has become obsolete; the company manager no longer needs more than a single copy of documents for formalities. The registry can electronically transfer a copy of the document in its original format to the INPI (National Industrial Property Institute) which is responsible for maintaining the archives of the National Trade and Companies Register... now electronic.
