Collaboration between companies is deemed more positive in 2013

The Peak Collaborative Index indicator allows for qualification of the collaborative level of intercompany relations by analysing the practices of over 100 French industrial firms (clients and suppliers).
The four most pertinent levers identified to improve collaboration between suppliers and principals are: skills management (identification ; control), organisation of the structure (management ; involvement), confidence (politeness ; reliability ; objectiveness) and commercial identity (size ; sector ; number of years of relations…)
The results gained between March and April 2013 show a development of over 8% in the index between 2012 and 2013. The perception of intercompany collaboration is 8% more positive.
This is a clear signal for suppliers and purchasers. Whilst the methodology will continue to develop in future (moving from 19 to 12 items) in order to increase the accuracy of this new index, the recent Peak partnership with the Cdaf (company of purchasers in France; circa 2000 members) will allow for complete approval.
