Conciliation

This procedure which replaces "amicable resolution" is aimed at an applicant who witnesses legal, economic or financial difficulties (article L. 611-4 of the Commercial Code). The objective is to seek an agreement with creditors by a grace period procedure presented before the Presiding Judge of the Court. It should be noted that incapacity to respect payments does not prevent initiation of conciliation insofar as it does not exceed 45 days. Exit from conciliation is possible either in a discrete manner by observation made by the Presiding Judge at the Court, or publicly by approval before the Court.
