Public and ministerial officer

The clerk at the commercial court is, just as notary publics and bailiffs, a public and ministerial officer. The public officer is a representative of the public authorities and the State in whose name it confers the authenticity of deeds falling within its remit. In its capacity as ministerial officer, the clerk at the commercial court lends its support to private individuals in performance of certain activities and to judges for preparation of decisions.
