Simplified joint stock company (SAS)
The simplified joint stock company was implemented by the law of 3 January 1994. The conditions for establishment are more flexible than for a limited company: it can be constituted between physical persons or legal entities, and even by a sole member. The Commercial Code makes provision that, notwithstanding incompatibility or exception, rules concerning limited companies are applicable to simplified joint stock companies.
