European company
European Companies are governed by the provisions of (EC) regulation no. 2157/2001 of the Council of 8 October 2011, those under chapter IX of the Commercial Code, and those which do not run contrary and are applicable to limited companies. The decree of 14 April 2006 makes provision for registration of European companies on the trade and companies register in four instances: on transfer of a Member State in the European Community; after constitution by merger; after constitution of a European holding company; after transformation of a limited company.
