Procedures Guide

The Procedures guide allows entrepreneurs and decision-makers to have a reliable, precise and up to date overview of legal procedures and measures concerning commercial formalities to be undertaken. It is broken down into 6 sections in which you can find information and documentation required for formalities with Registry Offices at the Commercial Courts.

Electronic filing

Transmission to the clerk of the commercial court of accounting documents by legal entities subject to filing obligations for annual accounts may, as of 1 July 2009, be carried out electronically.

This service is accessible on a dedicated site www.i-greffes.fr

It allows the transmittal by the manager or agent (accountant, attorney or others) of the required documents, digitally or digitised in PDF format.

In this way, the person subject to the filing obligation must conclude an agreement with the competent territorial court clerk and provide an electronic address. It will necessarily respect a certain system in the transmission of the documents. The Circular of the National Council of Commercial Court Registrars of 30 June 2009 contains an agreement template.

Payment of a deposit, including the court clerk's administrative fees, is effectuated on-line by bank card on a secured site.

When the filing is validated by the court clerk, the filer receives an electronic filing certificate as well as the corresponding invoice.

The court clerk transmits a copy of the fling to the INPI electronically.

The filing will be refused when the documents or a portion thereof are illegible or incomplete. The filer is notified without delay of the rejection of its filing.
