In ruling no. 2013-04 of 13 December 2013, the Coordination Committee for the Centre for Commercial Formalities (CCCFE) indicates that the form for declaration to trade as sole trader "P0 Auto-Entrepreneur" may be filed with the centre for commercial formalities by any person other than the sole trader as long as it is signed by the latter. A mandate is not therefore necessary in this case.

However, if the form is signed by a representative and not by the party making the declaration, a power of attorney is necessary.
