Public consultations has been launched by the European Commission on 8 September 2014 so as to observe and measure the expectations of small and medium sized enterprises as to future European Union policies. It will end on 15 December after the 12 weeks for public consultation by the Commission.
Firstly, this consultation is intended to determine areas for improvements for the Small Business Act (SBA) implemented in June 2008. This brings together a group of measures facilitating the life of small companies. These measures rest on the support for internationalisation and commercial spirit, access to funding, exchanging on best practices between entrepreneurs residing in the EU, or the implementation by Member States of solutions identified as having worked in the support of SMEs.
Secondly, public consultation calls on business founders and professional organisations to provide contributions so as to assist the Commission to ensure that the SBA is a key to provide solutions to new challenges faced by SMEs.
