The new President of CSOEC signs an unprecedented European partnership

On 11 March 2015, the Upper Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants (CSOEC) elected its new President in the person of Philippe Arraou. He succeeds Joseph Zorgiotti in the highest commission position of chartered accountants.

For the four years of his mandate, he set three priorities: (1) the appropriation of reforms by all offices and the marketing and communications stakes of the profession'; (2) the role of digital technology in the evolution of the profession towards global support of the company, notably regarding advice; (3) development of missions of the profession in the direction of the public sector.

The day of his election, Philippe Arraou signed a partnership agreement with the President of the Bundessteuerberaterkammer and that of the Consiglio nazionale dei dottori commercialisti e degli esperti contabili. This agreement was established for the creation of a European body focusing on fiscal questions at the European level. Based in Brussels, this body will collaborate with the Federation of European Chartered Accountants (FEE), the EFAA (European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for small and medium-sized enterprises) and several other European federations.
