The College of the Accounting Standards Authority (ANC) has defined the accounting treatment for the Competitiveness and Employment Tax Credit (CICE). In an informational note of 28 February 2013, it is necessary for accounting services to indicate this credit in a sub-account for "Staffing costs". The CICE is a governmental measure intended to stimulate growth though reducing the cost of labour.
